Breakfast Cereal Bars

Need an easy, healthy and on-the-go breakfast option? Then these cereal bars are what you need! With Post® Shredded Wheat, peanut butter and other yummy ingredients, they make a perfect breakfast on-the-go or afternoon snack that will help boost your energy levels and keep you fuller for longer.

Ah, the sweet taste of a new year, filled with endless possibilities and optimism. You don’t need a new year for a fresh start, but there’s something about the beginning of a new year that seems to awaken and inspire.

No matter how you feel about resolutions, eating better is a goal almost everyone can get behind. I recommitted to eating better this year. One practical step towards reaching my goal, is having a good breakfast option ready to go.

I love cereal, so I used some Post® Shredded Wheat as a base for these bars. I pick up a box of in the cereal aisle at my local store. These particular cereal gives the bars great texture and crunch and its packed with 49 grams of whole grain and 6 grams of fiber, protein, B vitamins and antioxidants. ¡A classically wholesome breakfast!

These delicious cereal bars only have 6 ingredients: Post® Shredded Wheat, peanut butter, agave nectar, favorite dried fruit, sliced almonds and chia seeds.

The cereal and most of the dried fruit get combined in a bowl – you’ll want to save some of the fruit to decorate the top of the bars.

In the meantime, honey gets heated in the microwave and mixed with peanut butter. The peanut butter mixture gets poured into the bowl of cereal and fruit.

After the cereal and peanut butter mixture is thoroughly combined, everything gets pressed into a greased pan. Decorate with the reserved dried fruit.
Bake for 15 minutes at 350˚F, then let them cool before you can enjoy them.

I like to make a batch of these bars on Sunday so that I have a week’s worth of breakfast bars ready.

These breakfast cereal bars are a great way to feed your family in a hurry. The peanut butter adds a nice dose of protein and healthy fat to keep everyone full all morning long and the Post® Shredded Wheat is a great source of fiber that prepares your body for the day and keeps you full until lunch.

Enjoy!

When everything is evenly combined, transfer to a greased 8x8-inch pan and press down to spread it out. Press down firmly until uniformly flattened.

  2. Yes, this is a delicious and healthy breakfast. If you suffer from stress and anxiety, you will also benefit from trying this delicious edible https://westcoastsupply.cc/products/edibles/ and you will realize that therapy can be very tasty. Personally, I really like cbd gummies and THC chocolate. It gives me a boost of good mood and protection from stress for the whole day.

  3. I really enjoy listening to music at breakfast. Sometimes I turn on some podcasts, but most of the time I just want to relax and have a good time at breakfast with calm music.

  4. Oh, I understand you very much, because often I do exactly the same. I even found some cool playlists on youtube. Something like ambient music or lo-fi. By the way, if I really like something, I download this music directly from YouTube using the Tubidy service. I think that I also like it for the reason that this service is free, and you can download any music from YouTube without piracy in excellent quality.

  5. I believe that's a great way to start the day, but I can say that in my case, the great addition in the morning is taking gummies from hometownherocbd.com/products/select-spectrum-gummies-strawberry because I struggle with anxiety and stress pretty often, and they actually help me feel way better than usual.

  6. Listen up, because I've got an incredible story to share about the journey of my cooking-themed YouTube channel! I've been pouring my heart into creating culinary content for a while, but my channel's growth seemed to simmer rather than boil. Then, during a culinary event, I had a chance encounter with a fellow chef who spilled the beans about a Youtube promotion service that had worked wonders for their cooking channel. Intrigued, I decided to give it a shot.

  7. In everyday life I have no problems with food. If I don’t have time to eat at home, I know exactly in which places I can find something tasty and healthy. But when traveling, this is problem for me, which often ends with unpleasant sensations in the stomach.

  8. I understand you, because this is always a problem for me too. By the way, the last time I decided to try only national cuisine, because for me it is directly related to local culture and traditions. Now you can get this experience with the help of secret food tours, and to find out more about them, click on the Link. I think that such leisure activities will definitely suit most people, and participation in tours can be said to be budget-friendly.

  10. Breakfast cereal bars can be an easy and nutritious start to the day if you choose a brand that's low in sugar and high in fiber and protein. If you're a fan of gut health, there are options on https://www.gundrymdbiocomplete3.com/ such as Gundry MD's Bio Complete 3 supplement that can be taken along with your breakfast bar to enhance digestive health and nutrient absorption.
